DESCRIPTION:

Azimex 250mg contains Azithromycin, a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic effective against a wide range of Gram-positive, Gram-negative, and atypical bacteria. It acts by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis through binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit, thereby preventing bacterial growth and replication (bacteriostatic action). At higher concentrations, Azithromycin can exhibit bactericidal activity against certain organisms.
