Delakem 300 contains Clindamycin (300mg), a lincosamide antibiotic used to treat a wide range of serious bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping the growth and spread of bacteria. Delakem 300 is commonly prescribed for skin and soft tissue infections, respiratory tract infections, bone and joint infections, dental infections, intra-abdominal infections, and gynecological infections. It is especially effective against anaerobic bacteria and certain Gram-positive organisms, making it a reliable option when penicillin is not suitable.
