DESCRIPTION:

Ranikem contains Ranitidine (150mg), a medicine belonging to the H2 receptor blocker class, used to reduce excess stomach acid. It works by inhibiting histamine receptors in the stomach lining, thereby decreasing acid secretion and providing relief from conditions such as acid reflux, heartburn, gastritis, peptic ulcers, and indigestion. Ranikem helps soothe symptoms like burning sensation, stomach discomfort, and sour belching, while also promoting healing of the stomach and intestinal lining. It is commonly taken once or twice daily, as directed by a physician, especially before meals or at bedtime for optimal acid control.
